(1450-1516) Bosch was a Dutch painter. He is considered to be a forerunner of surrealism with his images of the bizarre, the grotesque and the fantastic.  His painting The Garden of Earthly Delights  is a condemnation of sin. Bosch’s work influenced Pieter Brueghel the Elder, a later Dutch painter.
